Jere's earliest memories are of picking up drum sticks and playing on anything in site. This determination lead him to participate in school associated marching and concert bands as well as 20 plus years of private study.
Having played and studied drum set through college and thereafter, Jere has played around the world in places like England, Ireland, New York, New Mexico, Delaware, Virginia and even a spot on WJTL's Cookie Break Broadcast Worldwide.
These experiences have brought a unique background to Jere's teaching abilities. Having played many types of music everywhere, his list of proficiently played instruments, other than drum set, continually grows. These instruments include congas, bongos, djembes, cajon, UDU, bodhran, timbales, hand cymbals, washboard, shakers, and spoons.
His laid back yet enthusiastic approach to class at Drums Etc. is informative and habit forming! From full drum set to hand drums, all ages will find his classes fun and filled with easy to master techniques. All classes are designed to fulfill each student's desired goals by spotlighting their individual needs.
Goals commonly achieved are playing in a rock band, worship group, drum circles and school bands.
