Drum Rewrapping Service

Drum wrapping is no longer only done by manufacturers or garage hobbyists! You have a better option right here at Drums Etc! We are excited to offer drum rewrapping services inside our drum shop! That’s right: you can get your drums wrapped in the same place you get sticks, heads and drums!
Give your drums a fresh look with a new drum wrap! We are here to walk you through the whole process! Give us a call (717-394-3786) , Send us an email ([email protected]) or come in to our retail shop to get started!

Step 1

Select your finish! We have books full of wrap samples from our supplier Precision Drum Company, in addition to, scraps from other projects in-store for you to check out! If you’re interested in providing a custom wrap, that’s cool too! We’d be happy to help determine if finish matching is a possibility. Classic sparkles and (some) notorious finishes have direct reproductions. Others may need to be custom made externally. We hope to offer this someday, in-house. The finish type will determine pricing (See Pricing Below).

Step 2

Drop off the drums! We are open and available to accept new drum projects anytime during business hours (M-F 11AM-8PM SAT 10AM-6PM). If you’re out of town, please establish contact with the shop before shipping your drums. Note: You will be contacted to cover the cost of return shipping once the project is packed up and complete. Drum rewrap projects have a relatively quick turnaround time. Single drums are typically turned around within 1 wk. We can provide you with an estimate when the project begins.

Step 3

Sit back and relax knowing that your drums are being worked on by professionals who take pride in every project that comes through the door! We’ll give you a call when the project is finished. Also, we record most projects, so you’ll likely get a special time lapse video of the process to enjoy with your new drums!

Price Includes: Removing old wrap/finish, Disassembly, Shell Prep, Rewrapping, Reassembly, Tuning
Note: We use a contact cement to apply new drum finishes. This results in complete coverage and seal around the entire shell. Drum companies (especially on low end drums) sometimes cut corners during this step which can result in wrap bubbling or loosening down the road. Our process ensures that, when kept out of harsh conditions, your drum wrap will stay tight and in place.
